Privacy Policy

This policy covers the public website of Florida Lacrosse Officials Association, Inc. (FLOA), including its contact form and FLOA announcement signup.
Information we handle
When you contact us, we receive your first and last name, email address, phone number if you provide one, selected topic, and the message you provide. Please send only what is needed to answer your question. Do not send passwords, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive information.
Our hosting and email providers also process technical information needed to operate the service, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, security events, and email delivery records. Email processing may include delivery and engagement information, such as opens, depending on provider settings.
How we use and share it
We use contact information to respond to enquiries, coordinate FLOA activities related to your request, maintain the website, and prevent misuse. Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and network signals to protect this form from automated spam; its verification token is checked by our server before a message is sent. Contact form submissions reach FLOA’s President, Vice President and relevant topic contact, with a private copy to GXM Consulting LLC, the website service provider. IT Feedback/Support reaches only GXM Consulting LLC. Emails to FLOA role addresses reach the responsible person and are privately copied to GXM Consulting LLC for communication and website support. GXM supports the website and routing; FLOA is responsible for responding to association enquiries.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Brevo delivers contact-form email. These providers and the recipients’ email services process information to provide their services. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and address fraud or security incidents.
We do not sell contact-form information or use it for targeted advertising. Submitting this form does not sign you up for a mailing list or consent to SMS messages.
Announcement subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe, our Brevo-hosted signup form collects your email address and subscription confirmation records. You join the FLOA announcement list only after clicking the confirmation link sent to your inbox. FLOA uses the list for association news, meeting notices and training updates. Brevo processes subscription, delivery and engagement records for these messages. Use the unsubscribe link in any announcement email, our unsubscribe form, or contact FLOA to stop marketing emails. Contact-form submissions do not add you to this list.
Cookies, links, and measurements
The public site does not currently include advertising trackers or a visitor analytics script. Hosting services process operational traffic and security data and may use mechanisms needed to protect the site. Some outgoing links include campaign labels (UTM tags) so the destination can identify a visit from FLOA; those labels do not contain your contact-form information.
External sites, including governing bodies and scheduling services, have their own terms and privacy practices. Their policies apply when you leave this site.
Storage and your choices
Messages are delivered to recipient inboxes rather than stored in a separate website contact database. Copies and associated records may remain in those inboxes, provider logs, and backups. Retention varies with the service and the need to respond, maintain association records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Information may be processed outside your state or country.
You can ask FLOA to review, correct, or delete information you submitted using the email below. We may need to verify your request. Deletion can be limited by legal requirements, legitimate recordkeeping needs, and provider backup cycles. We use safeguards appropriate to this service, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed secure.
Young visitors
This contact form is not intended for children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact FLOA on their behalf. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes and future features
This site does not currently offer SMS enrollment, member accounts, or an authenticated video library. Before introducing those features or materially changing mailing-list collection, we will update the applicable notices and provide any required consent choices. The effective date above identifies this version.
